This Is Not Sunny San Diego

So while Stewart is off at a history conference in sunny, 70 degree F, San Diego, we are back home having our 6th snow day, mostly staying inside. But hey, we don't really mind being at home, catching up on reading, playing Legos, learning new magic tricks, and watching movies.

Bella would really rather be in sunny San Diego

And if you're still wanting some leftover holiday cheer, tune in to Brooke's recent Christmas piano concert - (the images are fuzzy, but the sound is better. First pause our "Tunes on the Fly" box, so you can hear the piano music):

Ukrainian Carol - Brooke - Piano

Pat-a-Pan - Brooke and Chloe - Piano duet

  1. 6th snow day? That's a lot of snow! Don't you guys have plows?

  2. Heh Heh! Why have plows when you can have SNOW DAYS?!! The wind is blowing up what the plows have moved. And then where to put more snow that we keep getting? We probably need more dump trucks. And then the temperatures have kept dropping. But all the large snow piles do make great forts. I wonder if kids in Alaska have a lot of snow days in the long winter. Stewart said maybe they just drive their snowmobiles to school.

  4. You're probably singing "Don't Let It Snow." Our sound doesn't work on our laptop so we'll have to hear Brooke later.

  5. Our snow tunnels have rooms with second stories - just kidding but our tunnel is still looking good and covered again with new snow. Brooke, the Ukranian Carol was very good! The sound didn't work on the duet but I can imagine what that was like. Stay warm.

    Love, Gma
